Our Story

The Story

Zip Products was founded in Memphis over 50 years ago by the Irwin Family as a local manufacturing plant. What started out as a local plant has grown to become one of the most well known steel manufacturing plants in the Memphis area. What started out as a couple punch presses has grown to a 50,000 square foot, multi department operation with punch presses, CO2 laser machine, CNC mill, CNC lathes, press brakes, robotic welding, wire EDM, custom fabrication shop, and a tool and die shop.

Tim Irwin

Tim Irwin is a local Memphian who has dedicated his life to growing Zip Products into what it is today. Using leadership and vision he has been able to successfully grow Zip Products into a world wide supplier of metal stamped products to multiple fortune 500 manufacturing companies. Tim prides himself on taking care of both his customers, and his employees.
